Make Standard ID Photos Online

Turn any photo into a standard ID photo. Presets cover Chinese 一寸/二寸, US 2×2 inch visa photos, and Japan 35×45mm — all at 300 DPI.

Smart cutout keeps the person untouched while the background is replaced with white, blue, red, a soft blue gradient, or any custom color — then download the photo or a print sheet for 6-inch or 5-inch paper. Everything, including the AI model, runs locally in your browser.

Standard Size Presets

一寸 (25×35mm), 二寸 (35×49mm), 小一寸, 小二寸, US 2×2 inch, and Japan 35×45mm at 300 DPI.

Background Replace

An on-device person-segmentation model protects the subject while white, blue, red, gradient blue, or custom colors replace the background. If the model cannot load, a tolerance-based color fill takes over.

Print Sheets at 300 DPI

One click lays out as many copies as fit on 6-inch (default) or 5-inch photo paper at 300 DPI, with light cut guides for the print shop.

How to Use

1

Upload a front-facing photo.

2

Pick a size, then drag and zoom to frame it.

3

Optionally replace the background color.

4

Download the photo or print sheet.

Frequently Asked Questions

Chinese 一寸 (25×35mm), 二寸 (35×49mm), 小一寸 (22×32mm), 小二寸 (33×48mm), US 2×2 inch (51×51mm), and Japan 35×45mm — all rendered at 300 DPI.

Smart mode runs an on-device person-segmentation model (MediaPipe), so the person is never recolored — only the background and a feathered edge band change. If the model cannot load or no person is detected, it switches to Color Fill, which flood-fills from the photo borders with an adjustable tolerance.

Yes. Print sheets default to 6-inch (152×102mm) paper at 300 DPI with light cut guides — the standard sheet photo shops accept — and you can switch to 5-inch paper.

No. Everything runs locally in your browser, including the AI person-cutout model — ID photos never leave your device.

A 6-inch sheet fits ten 一寸 photos or four 二寸 photos; a 5-inch sheet fits eight and three. The count updates live when you switch paper or size.

Yes. Downloaded JPEGs embed a 300 DPI density flag, so photo printers and print shops read the correct physical print size automatically.

Yes. Smart mode detects the person automatically and works with busy backgrounds too; Color Fill mode flood-fills from the borders, so plain walls or backdrops work best there. Adjust the tolerance slider for cleaner edges.

How this image workflow works

Background replace runs an on-device person-segmentation model (MediaPipe, Apache-2.0) that masks the person and composites the new color only behind them, with a color-refined feathered edge band; person pixels stay untouched. If the model cannot load or no person is detected, it falls back to a tolerance-based border flood fill. Size presets export at 300 DPI, and print sheets tile the photo on 6-inch or 5-inch paper.
